  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 sheets thawed puff pastry
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten with water)
  • Optional: strawberry jam and additional sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and cornstarch; let sit for 15 minutes.
