  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place beef stew meat in the slow cooker. Sprinkle with onion soup mix, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add cream of mushroom soup and beef broth; stir gently to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 4–5 hours until beef is tender.
  4. About 20 minutes before serving, cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain well.
  5. Stir cooked noodles into the slow cooker with the beef mixture, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
