  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 44 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries (chopped if large)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Stir in melted butter, eggs, salt, and flour until combined. Knead on a floured surface for about 6–8 minutes until smooth.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour until doubled in size.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle (12×18 inches) and spread softened butter over it.
  5. Sprinkle cranberries, brown sugar, orange zest, and cinnamon over the buttered dough.
  6. Roll tightly into a log shape and cut into 12 equal pieces.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking pan and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar and fresh orange juice for the glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over warm rolls before serving.
